.....This beautiful villa lived up to all our expectations,and more!It was exactly as described on the website but the reality was so much better.Words cannot describe the amazing scenery that surrounds this villa - the location is out of this world.Totally secluded & private,yet just a 10 minute walk into Lliber for fresh bread in the morning from the friendly lady in the panaderia.  2 minutes walk from the wonderful Val De Pop restaurant for excellent food & the friendliest service.

Easy drive into Jalon for shopping.All the ingredients for the perfect relaxation holiday.The villa itself is spacious,well furnished and set in lovely gardens & terraces complete with pool,table tennis & barbecue.The welcome hamper on arrival was exactly that - very welcome!

.....Had a lovely stay at Casa Rosa and fell in love with the Jalon Valley, so peaceful and beautiful.Many an evening spent cooking on the BBQ followed by a glass of wine on the roof terrace (great view but watch out for the mossies)

The village of Lliba is sleepy but very nice to stop in the bar and have tapas and a beer.Jalon has a great market on the Saturday and a very good butchers called Galan.

The villa had everything we needed and was spacious and cool inside.There is a lot to do in the valley but a highlight would be a trip up to Bernia and a walk in the mountains there." Nick Burton June 2009

....A really secluded property with large roof terrace, pool and spacious garden. The outdoor living area truly enhances this villa. You can walk from the villa to an excellent restaurant and Lliber. Casa Rosa is ideally suited for family orientated resorts and beaches of Calpe. What makes the villa particularly special is that it is peaceful, beautiful and secluded. We have never needed any help , but there is also help to hand if the situation were to ever arrive, which adds an extra feeling of security to the stay. .....The Views are better than the photographs suggest, and the privacy is absolute. The pool is well maintained, lage and deep enough for a proper swim. For me the real pluses for Casa Rosa include the proximity of Calpe, the Val de Pop restaurant where your attempt to speak Spanish is rewardwd with excellent food and on a warm evening taking your drinks to the roof terrace and watching the lights come on in the Valley. we thought this was a great place to relax and we shall certainly return.   Steve And Pat April 2009

Access to Jalon is a very short drive or taxi journey and the restaurants and bars were very good indeed. Cocina Fusion was our favourite, the food cooked by the swiss owner was tremendous. ....We had such a great time and would love to return to Jalon. The villa is situated in a great location, ideal for a complete getaway. Having breakfast on the veranda overlooking the valley and mountains was a real treat and again in the evening watching the sunset with only the mountain goats to break the silence.
The guidebook was great and very handy to refer to when choosing restaurants and days out. A real must is the Pinos/Bernia walk, Parc Natural Albufera de Valencia and Oliva beach.
I have your website address so if we can fit in another holiday this year we will be in touch.

VILLA LIZ

.....We had a truly fantastic time at Villa Liz. We have holidayed in Spain for many years (normally in Andalucía region), but this was certainly the best yet. Villa was well equipped and very homely. Pool and outside space was fantastic, as were the views across to the mountains. The climate was also perfect – hot, but the breeze kept things bearable. On that note, we were also very pleasantly surprised by the lack of mosquitoes in the valley – none of that “bitten-all-over” holiday feeling this year! We would also like to thank you for the effort you put into your guest information guide – this really helped us make the most of our time; introducing us to places that I’m sure we would not have otherwise discovered. So, it looks like the Costa Blanca is our new favored holiday destination and Jalon Valley Villas will be top of our list for accommodation when we return.

......My partner and I had a lovely holiday staying at Villa Liz in the Jalon Valley. From the outset our holiday was made enjoyable and stress free with great directions, welcome food pack and a very informative folder covering local information and great places to eat. The villa itself was spotless and there was plenty of room for the two of us and could easily have slept more.
The valley and surrounding villages were lovely and very welcoming and friendly with great shops and places to eat. The villa is very peaceful with a lovely pool area and we would recommend this to friends and family. We hope to go back in the future for a nice relaxing week in the Spanish countryside. ......Its in an excellent location just a short drive from the beach and the nearby towns.
If you want to make the most of the villa facilities though, you wont miss out. The pool is a good size and the villa and the pool area are kept immaculately clean and tidy, Its very private and has a nice terrace for eating out and shady areas for escaping the sun.The area it is situated in is very picturesque, lovely for watching the sun setting over it with a glass of wine or two! and the area is good for exploring if you like to get your walking shoes on or get in the car and see the sights. Also if you don't fancy cooking there is a lovely restaurant within walking distance and well worth a couple of nights out, friendly staff and good food.

loved the villa itself as well, nicely decorated well kept and many thanks to Gill and her team for a very warm welcome.

It was better than described in the write up, but then we did have the advantage of a brief viewing last year.
It was immaculately clean and furnished to a very high standard with a lovely outdoor eating area beside the pool, it had the bonus of a small balcony which overlooked the valley and caught the morning sun, enabling one to breakfast and sunbathe!

....My girlfriend and I stayed at the villa for a week and we can honestly say we have never had such a relaxing holiday.

The villa is set in its own grounds which has a lovely pool and is not overlooked so it is very private.
There is everything you could ever need in the villa. The kitchen is fully equipped and it even has a laundry room!
The bedrooms are massive and the whole villa has a very "Spanish" feel to it.

Its location is picture perfect surrounded by mountain landscape plus itâ?Ts just a 5 min walk into Jalon where we found some absolutely fantastic restaurants!

......I go to the beautiful Jalon Valley a couple of times a year (and hope to move there one day). This particular, very private villa surpasses all the others I've stayed in by a mile. It's large, well-furnished and very comfortable set behind electric gates in 2 acres, just a few minutes drive (must hire/bring a car) from the nearest villages: Jalon and Lliber. Jaw-dropping views from the pool (with it's own furnished POOL HOUSE, suitable for a couple or teenagers) and a choice of eating/sitting/relaxing areas either in the shade or sun dotted around the property. Very peaceful location halfway up the hill with stunning mountain/valley views from all aspects. Five stars, no less! Andy....April 2009

Listing description was very accurate. Property was clean and well-maintained. Welcome food / wine pack gave us a good start. Comprehensive information folder on villa and surrounding area. One of our teenage daughters was sick, and Gill was very supportive, offering advice regarding doctors.  Private swimming pool was a highlight for children and adults alike! Beautiful views, peace and tranquility was much appreciated!

CASA BENDITA 

....."We stayed at this amazing villa towards the end of July 2010, and must say the photo's simply do not do the villa justice.

Having stayed at one of Gills other villas last year and thinking it could not be topped, we were thrilled when we saw this one.

It has four lovely size bedrooms and five bathrooms. The decor of the villa throughout is modern, clean and bright. The kitchen has every utensil, pot pan etc that you could wish for and the lounge area is lovely and comfy when you have had enough of the sun for one day.

Sky tv is a huge bonus, as was the drawer full of DVD's and board games to keep us entertained.

The pool area is stunning, a lovely big pool with plenty of seating and a couple of barbecues, which we took full use of. The views are beautiful, and the only noises we heard where the bee's and the church bells in the nearby village of Parcent.

Parcent in itself is a short walk away and has a few good bars, Bar Estufa and Bar Guay where our favourites, soooo cheap!!

If you want a bit more nightlife there are also some good bars and restaurants in nearby Jalon.

All in all we had a fabulous week, the weather was perfect, villa was outstanding and the food and drink, just a little too plentiful!"
